![]() ![]() I recently realized I was missing this in my workflow as I started copying things from my download folder to other locations and then the originals just sat in download. These are “must haves” and I find myself missing them when I use Macs without them as I expect it to just be part of the experience. Only seeking opinions for these two apps, no “don’t see the point of these apps” types posts please.ĭefault Folder X I’ve been using over 10 years and Popclip over 5 although I stopped for awhile I recently re-implemented it into my workflow. ![]() So which is better in your opinion for dragging files, pictures into a temporary shelf? I know ultimately it’s “what works best for you” but I’m curious to see what people are using. (Could it be replicated using BetterTouchTool maybe?) I also liked Dropover’s shake cursor feature but it appears like Yoink doesn’t have that. Yoink seems more feature rich (maybe?), more frequently updated, more responsive developer and has cross platform support for the price but there’s something nice about Dropover’s more limited feature set and cloud upload features. So I’ve been looking for a shelf app and discovered a few options and narrowed it down to Yoink and Dropover. Ive been a long time user of Unclutter and started to look for a shelf app for drag and drop since the Files panel there really does not feel like it’s supposed to be used that way. ![]()
